    John F. Kerry Must Resign

John Kerry has a long and well-documented history of providing "aid and comfort" to the enemy in time of war -- particularly in the case of North Vietnam. By his own account, Kerry violated the UCMJ, the Geneva Conventions and the U.S. Code while serving as a Navy officer, and he further stands in violation of Article three, Section three of the U.S. Constitution which defines treason as "giving aid and comfort" to the enemy in time of warfare. Thus, in accordance with the Constitution's Fourteenth Amendment, Section 3, which states, "No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President ... having previously taken an oath ... to support the Constitution of the United States, [who has] engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof," We, the People of the United States, demand that Kerry resign his seat in the Senate.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki confirmed Tuesday that the Obama administration is considering a controversial plan to make veterans pay for treatment of service-related injuries with private insurance.

        SO THAT OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS OF VETERANS WON'T HAVE TO BE HAUNTED BY THIS COMMUNISTIC BETRAYAL OF THE PAST, AND SUPPORT OUR TROOPS IN THE LEGISLATURE AND THE LAWS THAT ARE NOW BEING PASSED TO VIOLATE VETERANS RIGHTS.  THINGS SUCH AS HAVING TO PAY FOR THEIR OWN WOUNDS, PASSING OFF WOUNDS THAT ARE SUSTAINED IN COMBAT OFF ON TO THE PRIVATE SECTOR WHERE THEY CONTINUE TO ABUSE OUR ENTITLEMENT PROGRAMS, SUCH AS SOCIAL SECURITY, MEDICARE, MEDICADE, SSI, THE MDA AND A HOST OF OTHERS.  THESE ENTITLEMENT PROGRAMS WERE NOT DESIGNED TO ACCEPT WOUNDS SUSTAINED IN COMBAT, THIS IS A MILITARY PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO HAVE THE VA STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND START ASSUMING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR VETERANS AND START ISSUING THEM THEIR SERVICE CONNECTED DISABILITY LIKE MATURE RESPONSIBLE PEOPLE THAT THEY SHOULD BE. HELP STOP THIS APPARATION FROM HAUNTING GENERATION AFTER GENERATION OF VETERANS CAUSING HURT  AND DIVISION.

        SO HELP BURY THE "GHOST OF VIETNAM" AND PUT IT BACK INTO THE GRAVE WHERE IT BELONGS. 

                      "OUR CAUSE WAS JUST"

Now there is something that they are not aware of because it is not a highly published or talked about subject and that was the "Vietnamization Program that they had back then. Even though General Westmoreland thought this program was a
discrace back then. Now I can't speak for all the front line Combat Infantry Units, but I can speak for my Combat Infantry Unit, I was with D Company 4th
Battalion 12th Infantry 199th Light Infantry Brigade. Now I was under the Vietnamization Program" and saw alot of good evolve from it. We would give the
women and children both food and medical supplies, to any village or hamlet that we were encamped by we would do these things for them. Most of them would speak pretty good English so we got the opportunity to get to know them through our
cordon and village searches that we conducted and so we could let them know that we would keep our paremeters open for them if the had any terrorist activity we were to know about it immediatly and that they could remain safe with us if needs be while we took care of the problem. Our government set up that program because they realized that these people were both scared and illeterate to the
given situation that was causing that big band of distrust that we had with some of the villagers as it was this program did alot of good as far as I could see it made them realize that we were not the bad guys here that were not the ones doing all the beatings, rape and murder, or neither were we the ones who always "Zippoed" their homes. The NVA, and Viet Cong forces were doing about 90% or more of the abuse than what any U.S forces had ever even thought of doing period! Also alot of people seem to over look the fact that the United States Government was in Coalation with the Free Government of the Republic of Vietnam and that we had to abide by these guide lines or risk the chance of going to "LBJ" Long Binh Jail. It was not our country to just walk in there and to rape, murder, and pillage the land like a band of Barbary Pirates, like Jane Fonda, and John Kerry had originally so falsely accused us of in the first place! These facts need to be known! Also under that program aqll spy, or beating and rape victems were to be turned over to the South Vietnamese Authorities immediatly! Again It was not our country to just walk in there and rape and pillage the land like a band of Barbary Pirates! There were certian laws and rules set up by the coalition of the Free Government of the Republic of South Vietnam and our own government of the United States of America upon which we were serving not just soldiers but as
repesenatives of the United States Government and as responsable civilized citizens of the United States. There were also certian lines of engagement and
other rules and regulations set by both the coalition and the Geneva Convention that we were aso to have followed. So we were NOT just an armed group of American Thugs, and neither did we rape and pillage the land like a band of Barbary Pirates!

     There have been so many rumors, myths, and downright intentional falsehoods circulated about the Vietnam War ever since it ended I think it's high time those rumors are laid to rest and I will attempt to do just that, it's time to separate fact from fiction!!

Myth: Most American soldiers were addicted to drugs, guilt-ridden about their role in the war, and deliberately used cruel and inhumane tactics.

The facts are:

91% of Vietnam Veterans say they are glad they served

There is no difference in drug usage between Vietnam Veterans and non veterans of the same age group (from a Veterans ---Administration study)

Isolated atrocities committed by American soldiers produced torrents of outrage from antiwar critics and the news media while Communist atrocities were so common that they received hardly any attention at all. The United States sought to minimize and prevent attacks on civilians while North Vietnam made attacks on civilians a centerpiece of its strategy. Americans who deliberately killed civilians received prison sentences while Communists who did so received commendations.

97% were discharged under honorable conditions; the same percentage of honorable discharges as ten years prior to Vietnam (Westmoreland papers)

85% of Vietnam Veterans made a successful transition to civilian life.(McCaffrey Papers)

Myth:

Most who served in Vietnam were drafted.

Facts:

2/3 of the men who served in Vietnam were volunteers. 2/3 of the men who served in World War II were drafted.

Approximately 70% of those killed were volunteers.
(McCaffrey Papers)

Myth: The media have reported that suicides among Vietnam veterans range from 50,000 to 100,000 - 6 to 11 times the non-Vietnam veteran population.

Facts:

Mortality studies show that 9,000 is a better estimate. "The CDC Vietnam Experience Study Mortality Assessment showed that during the first 5 years after discharge, deaths from suicide were 1.7 times more likely among Vietnam veterans than non-Vietnam veterans. After that initial post-service period, Vietnam veterans were no more likely to die from suicide than non-Vietnam veterans. In fact, after the 5-year post-service period, the rate of suicides is less in the Vietnam veterans' group.

Myth: A disproportionate number of blacks were killed in the Vietnam War.

Facts:

86% of the men who died in Vietnam were Caucasians,12.5% were black,1.2% were other races.

Sociologists Charles C. Moskos and John Sibley Butler, in their recently published book "All That We Can Be," said they analyzed the claim that blacks were used like cannon fodder during Vietnam "and can report definitely that this charge is untrue. Black fatalities amounted to 12 percent of all Americans killed in Southeast Asia - a figure proportional to the number of blacks in the U.S. population at the time and slightly lower than the proportion of blacks in the Army at the close of the war." Myth:

The war was fought largely by the poor and uneducated.

Fact:

Vietnam Veterans were the best educated forces our nation had ever sent into combat. 79% had a high school education or better.

Myth: The average age of an infantryman fighting in Vietnam was 19.

Facts:

Assuming KIAs accurately represented age groups serving in Vietnam, the average age of an infantryman serving in Vietnam to be 19 years old is a myth, it is actually 22. None of the enlisted grades have an average age of less than 20. The average man who fought in World War II was 26 years of age.

Myth: The fighting in Vietnam was not as intense as in World War II.

Facts:

The average infantryman in the South Pacific during World War II saw about 40 days of combat in four years. The average infantryman in Vietnam saw about 240 days of combat in one year thanks to the mobility of the helicopter. One out of every 10 Americans who served in Vietnam was a casualty. 58,169 were killed and 304,000 wounded out of 2.59 million who served. Although the percentage who died is similar to other wars, amputations or crippling wounds were 300 percent higher than in World War II. 75,000 Vietnam veterans are severely disabled.

     WELL THE TROOPS AND VETERANS ARE NO EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE.  HERE IS A YOUNG SOLDIER FROM THE U.S. 25th INFANTRY DIVISION TO THE RESCUE WHILE CRADDLING AND CRYING OVER A DYING LITTLE IRAQI GIRL WHO WAS CAUGHT IN A HOSTILE TERRORIST ATTACK.

   I TRIED TO GET A LITTLE FOUR YEAR OLD VIETNAMESE GIRL SET UP WITH ADOPTION PAPERS TO MY PARENTS IN VANCOUVER, WASHINGTON BECAUSE SHE AND TWO OTHER OLDER CHILDREN WERE LEFT IN A HOSTILE COMBAT ZONE WITHOUT ANY ADULT SUPERVISION.   WHEN I CAME BACK TO CHECK ON THE  SITUATION I FOUND OUT THAT THE VIET CONG HAD COME BACK AND SHOT ALL THREE CHILDREN TO DEATH.  LEFT THE TWO OLDER KIDS THAT HAD BEEN PLAYING WITH A STICK IN A BARREL HOOP DEAD IN THE DIRT STREET OF THE ABANDON HAMLET A DOG WAS FOUND LICKING THE WOUNDS OF THE TWO OLDER CHILDREN, WHILE THE LITTLE FOUR-OLD VIETNAMESE GIRL WAS FOUND DEAD ON THE FRONT POURCH OF THE THIRD ABANDON WOODEN STRUCTURE NEXT TO A CANAL IN A PUDDLE OF HER OWN URINE AND BLOOD...
